Ms. Lallemand graduated in 1996 under full scholarship from the Mannes College of Music's Professional Studies Program after studies with Timothy Eddy. Prior to that, she graduated from the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique de Paris and the Freiburg Musikoschule in Germany. Ms. Lallemand's awards include first prize in the UFAM competition, Second Prize at the Cologne Sonata Competition and semi-finalist at the Maria Canals Cello Competition in Barcelona. Ms. Lallemand has performed with many orchestras, and recently performed Elgar's Cello Concerto with the Mannes Orchestra , broadcast on WQXR as part of the McGraw-Hill Young Artists Showcase. In January 2000, she toured France with the Ensemble Orchestral de Paris.
