After graduating from the Byul-Byul Special Music School in Baku, Azerbaijan, Ms. Suk went on to graduate from the Gajibekov Conservatory, studying with M.R. Brenner and the Moscow State Conservatory, studying with Professor Lev Vlasenko. She received an Honorary Diploma from the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, top prize from the International Marguerite Long and Jacques Tibeault Competition in Paris, the Gold Medal at the International Music Festival in Pleven, Bulgaria and was awarded Distinguished Artist of the Azerbaijan Republic. Ms. Suk performed extensively throughout Europe in concert tours that took her throughout the Soviet Union and to locations including Italy, France, Netherlands, Poland, Austria and Turkey. Since 1990, Ms. Suk has performed in the United States and Europe and has taught privately in New York.
